<br />
Addiction:<br />
<br />
<a href="http://younghouselove.com/">Younghouselove.com</a><br />
<br />
Why? Because it's full of amazingly-budget-friendly, mostly-DIY projects for the home. It's my go to blog.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://marielotto.blogspot.com/">marielotto.blogspot.com</a><br />
<br />
Why? Because my friend writes it and she's amazing.<br />
<br />
----<br />
<br />
So, just because I don't blog daily doesn't mean that I am not fully aware of all things beautiful.<br />
<br />

He wrote with a purpose. He wrote with the reader in mind. He wrote to ensure I'd laugh my fanny off.<br />
<br />
Reading about Harris and "me" fighting the pigs had to be the best single moment of reading... So vivid. So illustrative. So right-on! <br />
<br />
Thank you Gary for writing something worth reading... and thank you to my husband who encouraged me to read it.<br />

Wow, does she do it right. I stopped into a locally owned shop right her in Madison, Wisconsin, <a href="http://www.stitcherscrossing.com/">Stitcher's Crossing</a> on Mineral Point and was just amazed by her stuff... and a lot of the modern-friendly designer fabrics throughout the store. Amy's <a href="http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/fabrics_top.php?fabric=august-fields&flid=13">AUGUST FIELDS</a> line is a refreshing... baby blues, a whole gamut of greens, rich brown and of course rusty-orange.<br />
<br />
Thanks for Amy Butler, I will no longer visit Jo-Ann's house-of-fabric crap.<br />
<br />
Check out her fabric lines, products and a zillion inspirational photographs.<br />

Happy crafting.<br />

some of the statistics on the site were mind-numbing... <br />

<span class="story_comment_back_quote"><i><b>Why women have abortions:</b></i><br />

Paisan's -- long wait, chains on outside patio furniture, poor service, and don't even go there with the food. try it at your own risk but don't say you were not warned.Lisa's Mindful Design Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07144501253321026039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5290075985389998678.post-8370265777268569932008-08-16T10:15:00.005-05:002008-08-16T10:28:42.258-05:00tis the season my friends<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaGQfghbk62lwhpCRdU-qJfEHXdg95aLB3k6_g3L-0sj1bKDNA6jFHlTVnCeSbvtfeo2Tiwrk8ztYZ_kgAljC_c4k6cswMkp9sw7pVZejODhSCwwt3kyB0OzC9kpR0tANK9_5a9cueFMw/s1600-h/Rummage2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaGQfghbk62lwhpCRdU-qJfEHXdg95aLB3k6_g3L-0sj1bKDNA6jFHlTVnCeSbvtfeo2Tiwrk8ztYZ_kgAljC_c4k6cswMkp9sw7pVZejODhSCwwt3kyB0OzC9kpR0tANK9_5a9cueFMw/s320/Rummage2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235137621934730354" border="0" /></a><br />why are rummage sales beautiful?<br /><br />well, three things...<br /><br />purging of clutter >> moving towards creating a life free of constant chaos<br /><br />wabi sabi >> it is a beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete<br /><br />deals >> why pay retail?**<br /><br />--------<br />**before you purchase online, refer to this site<br /><a style="color: rgb(51, 153, 153);" href="http://www.retailmenot.com/">retailmenot.com</a>Lisa's Mindful Design Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07144501253321026039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5290075985389998678.post-88953624875162135452008-07-31T11:20:00.007-05:002008-07-31T13:10:21.217-05:00high-style in madison<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzuKdDMXFx5GnFQ83coCmzVJQQmZyn4X5HojK1mtXjJ1PX1YjpYrQvuP14QrZe8TPLSQG5J0djVNpp-eCILQzcsqPwK3YyrWu8NHk2zGuEaqmqSVcs0sftPCp9re4_jIzKPdmbeh9L0xg/s1600-h/fresco_1L.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzuKdDMXFx5GnFQ83coCmzVJQQmZyn4X5HojK1mtXjJ1PX1YjpYrQvuP14QrZe8TPLSQG5J0djVNpp-eCILQzcsqPwK3YyrWu8NHk2zGuEaqmqSVcs0sftPCp9re4_jIzKPdmbeh9L0xg/s320/fresco_1L.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229241643026104946" border="0" /></a><br />fresco rooftop restaurant is one of those rare Madison sites with its super-modern, high-style atmosphere... yet, it retains some semblance of coziness as you step into the outdoor sculpture garden and listen to the campus buzz of State Street. You almost have to tear yourself away because it's such a relaxing escape. I often wonder if <span style="font-style: italic;">living on a lake</span> would be the same as <span style="font-style: italic;">vacationing on a lake</span>... Likely not because if you'd wake up to that view every morning, you might begin to take it for granted. For now I plan to just visit and soak up all the lake's beauty in short spurts.Lisa's Mindful Design Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07144501253321026039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5290075985389998678.post-56867243955478689762008-07-20T21:59:00.007-05:002008-07-31T13:04:48.575-05:00puppy love<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8we8DSDBdU5ctN0GF51tH0sl9BqAyJQSxD6Hqz62ltzpe91koGZHGn0ubitTmPvYDMDDeRdh3uAOAPpKB6rOu40KVmEQUzsPKwxxL9DJO46odoNGpcujhNc0vNAt51QjIuFJWuG3ZmtE/s1600-h/pups.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 336px; height: 295px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8we8DSDBdU5ctN0GF51tH0sl9BqAyJQSxD6Hqz62ltzpe91koGZHGn0ubitTmPvYDMDDeRdh3uAOAPpKB6rOu40KVmEQUzsPKwxxL9DJO46odoNGpcujhNc0vNAt51QjIuFJWuG3ZmtE/s400/pups.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225296984587967554" border="0" /></a><br />Have you ever seen a puppy look at a puppy?<br />Vizsla pup (14 months) looks at Weimaraner pup (6 weeks).<br /><span style="font-size:100%;"><a href="http://www.vizslascoolcreekkennels.com"><span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"><span class="a">vizslascoolcreekkennels.com</span></span></a></span>Lisa's Mindful Design Bloghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07144501253321026039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5290075985389998678.post-84414214665185023422008-07-20T21:30:00.007-05:002008-07-31T13:04:21.137-05:001/2 never looked so good<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwR8KYU8TcDdPKcKG7njZitJR_rO2IYBylEFy1Zd9WcPvQt8nR-YY61-fbJdd2FwQOcnyJOZW8bm_FdppnJIcl7OShMpFVBIJ6Jx7i5wDCBd9IkmosehSxyFRQDLIe84Tjb3uZus_S4A0/s1600-h/ironman.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 391px; height: 80px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwR8KYU8TcDdPKcKG7njZitJR_rO2IYBylEFy1Zd9WcPvQt8nR-YY61-fbJdd2FwQOcnyJOZW8bm_FdppnJIcl7OShMpFVBIJ6Jx7i5wDCBd9IkmosehSxyFRQDLIe84Tjb3uZus_S4A0/s320/ironman.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225291947888885794" border="0" /></a><br />1.5 something.... 50+.... and ~13.
